You taking my photo? A close up Mrs DP!  ;D ;D ;D ;D I am looking a little portly after eating all those peanuts, does my belly look big in here?!!
The feeder (both types) had now been removed!
how did it get in there? :o
That's crazy!! :o They really will go anywhere there's food, won't they? And yes, how did it manage to get in there....?!
It is a double sided feeder, and it had managed to remove the plastic on the sunflower seed side and clamber over the divider to the mesh peanut side!
I watched it come out. It leapt onto the fir like tree on the right and clambered down! If it tries to go back this way now it will be sky diving, as it's food source has been removed! ;D
What a clever little b****r ;D

great photos DP he/she must have been desperate. ha ha
When I lived in Cornwall, my mother came in one day to say that there was a rat with its head stuck in the mesh of a small chicken run we used for sitting hens, she'd whacked it on the head with a hammer, and could I dispose of it. It was a huge male (much bigger than the females) which had got its head trapped somehow.
What a hero Doris, you risked life and limb and pants ;D to get up close and personal with Ratty. All so you could share your piccies with us on A4A!!! Wish I hadn`t shown that to Mother in Law :o
Earlier she asked me to hang a fat ball on the bird house :P
;D
Even though i detest to look at pictures of rats :o I had to laugh at the thought of you getting those pics DP ;D
You would have laughed even harder if you had seen me balancing on a pot of chicken pellets, ready to run! ;D
Yes i understand the 'ready to run' method ;D
