Anchovie ,Garlic Butter

Always one for extra flavour on fish I enjoy a slab of butter and this Anchovie butter with a hint of Garlic is worth making and having on standby in the freezer,

INGREDIENTS

8oz salted butter
6 to 10 anchovies dependent on how intense you like the flavour.
1 to 2 cloves of Garlic grated.
squeeze of lemon juice

Parchment Paper cut to 12ins x 12ins



Assemble ingredients



Soften butter to room temp and once you have grated the garlic into the butter along with the fine chopped anchovies add a squeeze of lemon salt and pepper to taste then work all the ingredients together with your fingers.



Place Parchment on work surface and lay butter mixture along edge of paper about 2 ins thick to width of paper,then roll the parchment around the butter mixture.



One you have rolled it up place it in the freezer for an hour.



cut into Anchovie butter coins and place on grilled fish,or cooked meats.
