Put all my earlies and main in at the same time 25th March (Sussex) and the earlies are going well, and a few of the main are starting to show. Investigated some gaps in the earlies, and discovered that I'd put two or three in upside down and they were having a hard time sorting themselves out. One also rotted, which I replaced with a well chitted one which I had discarded in one of my bins of rotting stable manure. Actually doing very well - may put more in there next year!

Moggle many thanks for lovely chit pic !  I was desperately worried because my chits (are they called that?) were mostly black looking, not healthy and green except the ends but so are yours.  Relief  ;D
