If anyone intends to store Mayan potato seed, you will need to store them in the fridge now as they are already starting to sprout.

I've had no problems with my Mayan Twilight, very firm, no softening whatsoever and only stored at room temperature.

I did let the plant die off for some weeks before digging them up, maybe that's the answer or maybe it's Twighlight only and the others sprout quicker.  I did notice Mayan Queen was a bit of a crazy. wild sprouter when it arrived in the spring.
