summer/ autumn raspberries - how to tell?
« on: August 14, 2003, 16:21:24 »
i have inherited a lot of fruit bushes including some raspberries. they are overgrown and wild but should be ok as they seem healthy enough and are fruiting. How can i tell if a raspberry is autumn or summer and so prune them at the right time?

any advice very welcome.

thanks

Jo

they're summer! the lovely ladies with the next allotment told me the history of the fruit bushes today and how to care for them! the other good news is that they are organic so totally understand why i haven't cleared the plot with round up!!
