Manics, poor you. Do as you are told & take it easy. Sambucol is a good one for flu, a nice tasting immune stimulant. I think it's from elderberries.

Bummer, Mal. You have my deepest sympathies. I've got a cold and that's frustrating enough. Keep taking the tablets and don't even think about doing anything until you are well enough. Glad Ray is being a good slave, just dare him to catch it ;D
Get well very soon. :-*

OOOh Mal, I read Debs' advice....
plenty of oral fluids
thank the Lord it's only oral ones she suggest you take - an enema as a cure seemed a bit of a bummer to me ::) - seems Emaggie thinks so too ;D
Hope you have a good night tonight and please, please Get Well Soon.
Love from afar!

I had it in July. You have my sympathy.
Don't let them give you tamiflu. its does little or no good and has some potentially very nasty side effects.

Blimey, get better soon.........I don't know why, but I always crave mashed potatoes with mint sauce when I'm ill......there must be a method in my madness somewhere! ::) ;D

Hope you had a good night manics.
My son had swine flu over christmas, poor lad, but i would say take the Tamiflu, he picked up quite a bit once it got working, and the sickness subsided as he got used to it.
Ray sounds to be doing a wonderful job, bless him. Like others have said plenty of fluids is the best thing.
Deb mashed potato is wonderful comfort food, tinned rice pudding too. When we had all the furore about swine flu in the summer I put together a box of goodies we might need, lemsip, strepsils, lucozade etc and rice pudding! :-[ :-[ It did come in useful!

;D ;D @Lish, might do me some good ;D
thank you all, sweating all night but at least I can nap if I need during the day, all babysitting called off for now
too late, greenfists, taking the tamiflu but I'm on omeprazole so, hopefully, that'll protect my stomach a bit, I'm finding it awkward to fit all the pills in, normally 8 in the morning including my vits so they're lunchtime now.
mashed potato, really, Deb? can't cope with it normally but rice pudding, usually make my own but I've put some on Ray's shopping list, along with MORE tissues, having to BUY eggs as no chicken visits at the mo, never mind, day 2 of anti biotics, apparently I was snoring like Ray's drill last night, hopefully my nose'll dry up a bit
