I have a wheelbarrow full of really good white wood ash from a wood clearence near me and wondered if anybody know what crops to put it on for next year, would it be for Brassicas, Roots, the bean family or would anywhere do? I heard not to put it on patatoes as this may cause scab.
Also is it best to mix it in now while im doing the autumn/winter digging or just put it on the beds next spring just before of after planting time?
Any ideas please.
Thanks.
