garden backdrop
« on: May 12, 2009, 18:57:48 »
I know some of you like to a sneak preview into some of our show gardens, This is the backdrop for a garden that will be built at Hampton court this year.
I made it from old ceramic tiles, mirrors and broken roof slates, you could say it is recycled garden art. The circular spaces will be filled by some stained glass windows featuring flowers.  Also it will be donated to some worthy cause after the show. We also have a garden pavilion that cost a few thousand that is being used at The NEC which will be raffled for Age Concern, so don't let the Charity envelopes remark make you think I don't care.

If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

You are a real craftsman Ace, We all know the real you in spite of your sometimes non chalant remarks. Tone and I will look forward to seeing the finished exibit later in the year. Keep up the good work for Age Concern mate we really need folks like you.
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

The pavilion is for a completely different garden and we are not allowed to 'play with it'.
