Love him, BUT -

- his recipe for Fried Leeks  yesterday - boil 15 min - after 12 min slow simmer they had collapsed!!

Ah, well - with Delia's Chicken Puttanesca sauce, there were no complaints!!

that's odd cos his stuff is usually great, maybe a typo? Maybe they are meant to be brought to the boil then simmered for 12 mins?

More like 1-2 minutes I think :)
