fixing greenhouse into place
« on: May 29, 2008, 19:07:09 »
Hi

my site is on a slope and i am positioning my greenhouse at the bottom.

Each corner of the greenhouse will have had angle iron bolted to it.

I have built a wooden frame with the plan of filling with soil and using post create to cement the angle iron into place which seams to stop the greenhouses on our sites moving.

problem - not had any soil delivered and the greenhouse needs to be moved from the people who are giving it to me.

Solution

I was thinking i could move the greenhouse (without glass) into place and build a square box shape for each corner and use the post create to secure it into place until i can get more soil.

Any other suggestions?

If they are tipping the soil directly into the area then nothing much you can do other than wait.

If you are barrowing the soil after delivery, so long as the barrow is narrow enough to go through the door space, then build the green house and barrow it in when the soil arrives.
