Suns out, and I'm stuck in the office :'(. Hope the cold weather remains, going ice climbing in Scotland next week. Some more snow would be good up there. :)

Just got back from the allotment after rough digging a few rows. The wind and the frosts these last few days have really dried out the soil making it a lot easier to work. Cheers, Tony.

Clear and cold. Ordinary cold, not like last winter. I didn't get to the plot as I've been helping with the Food Bank.

Bloody freezing here in France. They say in the Eastern parts they have -20 C!!!! This morning seemed less cold than yesterday, was about -4 last night and around freezing today, They say we will get about -8 this weekend! Bugger the allotment in this weather!

Glorious blue sky & sunshine, but bitterly cold & dry so no visible frost this morning except the pond is frozen over so it was well below last night -3 when I came home at midnight.

4"/10cm of snow fell from 4pm yesterday but none since. Temps down to -15C overnight and up to -8C today. It's bright and sunny and beautiful but the easterly wind makes it perishing.
Rasta doggy loves it and has been for a 3 hour tramp around with OH. One cat quite likes dry snow and has been out to play. The other lasted 5 seconds and scarpered back indoors. Loads of birds feeding so OH is off to stock up on supllies. Belgian bird count this weekend.
I'm stuck indors with a trapped nerve making my arm and shoulder very painful. Very frustrating.
