Loving every minute of it, even the tawny owl chick having more than his fair share of "snack".

Loved Bill lying by the riverbank with his branch waiting for the kingfishers.  Aren't they teensy !

And thrilled to find mr seal man Gordon Buchanan lives in my city ....... must go and find him !  all i've got to do is walk up every busy street in glasgow with a camera looking for the foxes.   :P

Wasn't that horrible?  I think they had a lot of response about it cos they referred to another lot who'd done the same but didn't show it.

Imagine if our own kids did it.  :o

Horrible it may be, but that's nature and if we don't want to see it in all it's glory, we shouldn't really be watching.

Personally I thought it was fascinating.  Basic survival instinct in action.  It teaches the kids that not everything in life is wrapped in cellophane with the additional benefit of "behave or else...."

My cat watches Springwatch, in fact on Weds we spent more time watching her, watching the TV ,than actually watching the programme - photos in The Gallery. She prefers listening to Simon, than  to Bill and Kate, but watched nearly all of Weds programme. Wish I knew what was going on in her mind!

I reckon Simon King dreams about being a golden eagle. Every night. It was quite revolting when he bit that manky feather.

I'm not convinced about Mungo's Big Adventure - I reckon he was only gone 5 minutes.  ::)

oh ye of little faith.  how could you NOT believe Gordon ??   :-[

Doesn't Simon look strange without his hat on (scene with deed Chuff).   :'(

(must admit the chomping of the feather was a little OTT but just proves the man loves his work).  ;D

Yep with you there EJ. He is creepy. Sorry Shades  :)
I love Springwatch -  the girls are watching Springwatch Trackers on cbeebies/cbbc and they've been going on to the site to log all their findings. They spotted baby dragonflies on Sunday and fought over the computer so they could go and add theirs to the count.

I'm loving SPRINGWATCH too, it's so fascinating and really makes me want to get out there exploring.  Going to miss it tonight and tomorrow though, a bit gutted, but I'd forgotten about the webcams so will have to try and catch up with them instead.

Have to admit I'm with Angle shades on the SK issue, although I can't quite imagine him with long braided hair!  Really like GB too, in fact I think I prefer him just a little bit to SK.
