« on: May 18, 2007, 17:27:25 »
Will regular nurseries (we have a Pennells near us) sell them? I have nver ever noticed any locally, used to buy them years ago from a table top ouside someone's house but we have moved hundreds of miles since and its a bit of a trek  ;)

look at local car boot sales too, the one I visit there is someone selling all sorts of veggie seedlings and they look much healthier than those on offer at the garden centres around here.

Ask on your local Freecycle - most people sow too many seeds and are usually glad to give a few away (well I do anyway  ;D)
