Patio Herbs

I have planted out a selection of the usual herbs into 12" clay pots around the patio, close to the kitchen.
Should I put saucers under the pots, or those clay feet, that keep them off the ground & promote drainage?

Providing you have crocked the bottom of the pots well there is not really any need to use pot feet. And I wouldn't use saucers either, as they retain water and the herbs will hate that.
