Anyone know where I can buy Corriboard?
« on: March 16, 2006, 15:02:34 »
Hi All,

I need to replace the glazing in a cold frame lid.  The original was 4mm twin-wall plastic, which I now think is called translucent Corriboard, but that fell in when cats sat on it.  I tried glass, but that has now broken.  I can't seem to find the stuff in any of the shops/builders merchants in Guildford.  Does anyone know of a source of single sheets, not packs of 10. please?

Is this for a Haxnick cold frame by any chance? They use 6mm twin wall ploycarbonate sheeting and it might be worth having a word with them or trying:

Hi Jerry,

Unfortunately not, but thanks for the suggestion.  I'm sure that polycarbonate would have survived the cats.  I think mine is a cheapo item using twin-wall polypropylene, and the aluminium frame extrusion won't take 6mm material.

Hi All,

Thanks for your suggestions.  Looks like DIYPlastics has it - just got to face up to a 5.95 delivery charge.
