Waiting for my mate to turn up - came shortly after which is why I am replying now.  Much happier after 90mins than I was after 45.  :)

Sorry to be such a pillock.  I thought you were away.  Not seen any results yet cept Chesterfield's so assume from your comment that you are too a happy man (new the footy season would make things look brighter for yous).  We won 3-1 away at Blackpool.  My oh left here with a car full of mates bright and early, planning to get there about 1.00 so they could savour the delights of the pleasure beach (feeling nauseous already  :P) but they got there just before kick off to find the main car parks closed for repairs and had to park way away from the ground and walk.  That put a crimp on the party atmos.  Still they won and he's gone from Blackpool to Manchester airport (mates in tow) to fetch my niece from Manchester airport who has been there since 3.20 this affy  :(
PS  You sourced your mushroom compost yet  ;D

 :D OMG! Thats expensive.

I paid £90 for two good tons delivered by lorry from a local supplier. But that's in Essex. I must admit I thought mine was dear but now feel quite chuffed at the price.

Get on the net and find your local or nearly local mushroom grower. Ring them and ask if you can have a lorry load delivered or if you can go pick up. If you can't use it all and, if you are having trouble others must be too! So split it with them.

It may be that mushroom grower will have a shorter trip to yours than to his usual dump site.

Happy digging.
Supernan!!

Many thanks for the info Jennym I'll ring the Cester le street number tomorrow. The web is a bit on the expensive side. Where abouts in Essex are you Supernan I've only lived in North Yorkshire for the past 18 months, used to live in Sible Hedingham, near Halstead.

How did you get on with the Chester le Street supplier? Quite near me so would be interested in spent mushroom compost. Thanks Dave.
