Oh flip! Only just seen this thread...
A bit late, but all the bestest to everyone here - all of my New Friends and all of my Old Ones, too..
Palefire, hope that your little girl's still engrossed with the Magic of it all and that your Mum's been given a sub. to this Site next year?
Eric - hope that you're having a really great time and that Anne enjoyed her surprise pressies? (

Do hope that Christmas is progressing the way you all wish it to.......me? GREAT!!! Get me to a Nunnery, peeps - with the Great Escape to the Pub planned for later....cheers, Lish

OzZy............. a newbie ??? - have I missed something during my festive absence?
I hope everyone had a nice time - my only let down was that I couldn't go see my 4 year old wonder singing at the church :(. She did, however, give me a rendition of Away In A Manger in the sweetest (I'm not biased, honest!) little voice ever, before getting her new Snow White dolly to bash the living daylights out of her new Princess and the Pea dolly for pinching her golden shoes!!!!! Yes, Lish - she is still into the magic of it all - especially as Father C left her a note to thank her for letting Rudolph et al eat our grass as a refreshing change to carrots - "Con Your Child with this at Christmas" Excuse Number 17 (so I forgot to get a carrot - super mum I'm not!!!).
By the way, can you all post your top favorite "Con your child with this at Christmas" excuse - I have lots already, but the favorite is the following:
Child:
"Daddy, why are the presents already under the tree - doesn't Father Christmas bring them?"
Father:
"Those are empty boxes. If you are good, Father Christmas will use magic to place the presents inside. If you are naughty, all you will get on Christmas morning are a lot of prettily wrapped empty boxes!"
Love, Palefire
