« on: July 21, 2011, 08:17:20 »
What info is available on armillatox and its use on crop growing land. Is it safe or not?
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

I have over the years used quite a lot of armillatox, it was first introduced by a Mrs Victoria Bray who refined it for honey fungus. I think it is about the only thing which will control honey fungus and a large acer that was being attacked by honey fungus but treated with armillatox is alive today some thirty years on. Armillatox is also very in good controlling club root but then we come to a problem, a few years back the powers to be decided all such things needed to be re-approved . This was to be very costly and so the makers of Armillatox decided the cost was too high. This means that it is still on sale but not recommended as a soil Sterilant, it is still the same product and still safe to use but not recommended !!!!!!!!
