COMFREY FERTILISER
« on: July 25, 2011, 20:06:01 »
Just made about 4pts concentrated comfrey fertiliser.  Can't remember the ratio of dilution was it 1:10 or 1:100.  Thanks in anticipation of advice.

more like 1:10...or so..
My 'measure is' ...if you can just about to see bit colour in water then its right...if its obvious, too much. ;)
With that consentration I can happily water my toms couple of times a week without worrying over doing it.

Depends on how you made the fertiliser.  If you seaped the leaves in a bucket of (now very smelly) water then I would use around 1:10.

If you exuded the black liquid from the leaves without using water then much greater concentration and I use about a quarter of a cup to 2 gallons, prob about 1:100.
Best laid plans and all that
