Hi Folks,
have recently made my first batch of Elderflower Cordial, very pleased with the result.
Question, I have frozen the cordial in poly bags inside 500 ml margarine boxes. After 24 hours at -25 C
the cordial is still liquid but very thick.
I vaguely remember from School days (in a previous life ;D) that sugar reduces the freezing point of water, this I can now confirm ;D
Will all bacterial activity have stopped ? will it be safe to drink this cordial in, say, 6 months time ?
many thanks for any comments / guidance
Mikey
