Our Star is shining.
« on: May 05, 2008, 13:32:59 »
Wow, 20 plus degrees forecast for the next week... I'm getting everything out while it lasts.

Including my legs. Now, where's my shorts?

yep it's forecast fine here too for a few days (except Thursday and Friday). I'm sure the weeds will be thrilled....
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

Thursday and Friday are forecast to be the hottest days here all week. I was going to do so much today but the weeds that had sprouted in the last three days stopped me. I spent all afternoon with a hoe in my hand.

Apparently the other lotties on plot 69's site are up in arms, a site meeting has been called after numerous letter complaints sent to the committee, its not about vandals, bonfires, fly tipping or encroachment on each others plots. No the complaints have been about plot 69 getting his legs out on show, one disgruntled lottie holder of 25 years said I feel so strongly about it I have sent a letter to my MP.   :o   :-[    ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

All the complaints come from the male plot holders on the site. Instead of helping their husbands to dig, all their wives have been congregating outside plot69's shed in anticipation...   :o

Also think you need some cane toppers, you don't want a nasty eye injury.
