Interesting programme tonight?
« on: November 02, 2007, 19:17:38 »
"A Passion for plants", BBC2 8.00 is about a new allotments project on a Bradford estate. Could be interesting?

Well, sorry about that, folks- the Guardian tv guide made it sound as if the whole programme was about the allotment project, not a few 30-second snippets! Wonder if any A4A Bradford people know whether it's been a success- it didn't look too promising!

Ah. so I didn't miss much then? Just as it began the fireworks started with a big bang and I had one scared KC>Cavalier, gave her a tablet turned my DVD player up full blast, took some time for her to stop shaking. Oh well gave me a chance to hear some of my music. Hope there are no late fireworks and we can both get some sleep.

We slightly choked on our wine when the chap said they were about to open the allotments, the camera panned around and there were 30 or so raised beds! How weird that this was being classed as an allotment site?
