I've gone to use my garlic that I pulled up at the weekend and at the top of the clove its green. Are they still ok to use?

Most definitely, and I find when the cloves are like this they are at their most delicious :) Given time, the cloves will dry out and the green will disappear.

ok thanks, nearly threw the two cloves I looked at in the bin saved them now for something else.

It's lovely, I have some from some mediocre garlic that I grew last year and was too ill to lift. Inevitably, it vanished underground and got mixed up with other crops.
