potato cakes

we have some potatoes that managed to get in the way of a fork tine  ;D
I'd like to make up some potato cakes to freeze, any recipes, please..my mum used to put flour in them but I've lost her recipe  :-\

just finished, made 18 out of manky spuds and manky onions  ;D

I just make up dishes of mash and when they are frozen I bag em up. Always a good standby. I did it last year when they showed signs of beginning to chit and we still have some in the freezer. Will try the cakes though
