My lupins are cream with and the little spiky bit sticking out of each flower is yellow. Is this what you mean? If it is I'll willingly send you some seed when they finish flowering

Rosebud I stupidly dumped my first deadheading but there will be another lot. My two tones are Tutti Frutti (various from pink and white to raspberry and cream if that appeals, or some purple and white ones) CLX

2nd flowering? The weather has been so crazy up here this year ours have only just started opening the buds on their first flowering. Cotswold lass could I possibly have some of your seed as well?

Miss B I've got the above plus Morello (lovely deep red). Should get some pods still. Message your snail trail and I'll send.
Got any seeds to swap? No problem if not! CL  ;)

Hi CL - your Morello lupins sound lovely - if you have any to spare I would love some.  I can offer Cleome seeds at the moment if they are any use to you (you will note my new topic).  If so, let me know and we can exchange addys.

Pat your Cleomes are GORGEOUS! I'd adore some, all are my colours. Morellos I should have some seed pods any day. It'll be lovely to pass them around as I originally got those, and the two-tones from Mike in the USA who started off 'Gardening Friends' on OTGF. (And we got round the mods!).
CLx  ;)

Ok CL, pm me your address and I will send them as soon as the seeds are ripe.  Well done for getting round the mods on the Beeb - it will be great to have some seeds which originated from Mike. I will pm you with my address.

PS - Rosebud, unfortunately I disposed of my two-tone (blue & white) lupin heads when they had finished but I note I have a new flower so if it seeds I could send you some if you are interested, although you probably have enough offers to be going on with :D

Rosebud - the new flower is quite small so may not produce any decent seed pods, but here's hoping :)  If you pm me your address I will make a note to send you some.

Tig I should have enough. They'll be ready soon. I'm most interested in perennials and I'm doing a new shady border and redesigning around the wildlife pond if you have any ideas. CL  8)

CL, have you thought of growing Astilbes round your wild life pond - I assume it will have a boggy edge and they like heir roots in quite moist soil.  If you are not sure what they look like I can post a photo of mine for you.
Happy gardening all...........Pat
