Title: Nibbled???
Post by: Wicker on May 15, 2005, 00:18:12
My corn is not getting off to a good start this year at all.  First they got overwatered (so some are very pale) and now this - what lifeform would have nibbled holes so precisely - lucky only a couple are like this.

Any ideas please

Morning Wicker.  Mine got munched too.  Also 4 of my six cues.  I take it if the seed leaves are gone they are as good as dead.

Hi Baggy - nope the "inside "growing"leaves are o.k. just those precise perfect oval holes in afew leaves - and no culprit to be seen. Have made a second sowing of a later variety anyway.

Sorry I went to a quiz nite last nite and was winding down.  I found out my cat likes a drop of Baileys' and enjoys A4A too.
