Vinegar, fire, hot water, what else does ayeone round here use to kill weeds- going to be experimenting on my weedy plot
-
Smother them? Dig them out?
-
I am going to make some nettle tea and then water it on to my weedy bits full strength. It is meant to kill weeds through fertilizer burn.
-
When you say vinegar, are you talking neat?
Would that work for slugs? (Sorry, off thread)
-
Salt is good for slugs but then I suppose if you want a bit of a snack a spot oif vinegar on them might make them a bit more palatable.
-
Just wondering what effects the salt, vinegar and hot water have on other parts of the garden? Good beasties?
I think I'd rather weed them :)
All best - Gavin
-
Just keep digging the b*gg**s up :)
