I am going to make some nettle tea and then water it on to my weedy bits full strength.  It is meant to kill weeds through fertilizer burn.

When you say vinegar, are you talking neat?

Would that work for slugs? (Sorry, off thread)

Salt is good for slugs but then I suppose if you want a bit of a snack a spot oif vinegar on them might make them a bit more palatable.

Just wondering what effects the salt, vinegar and hot water have on other parts of the garden?  Good beasties?

I think I'd rather weed them :)

All best - Gavin
