Title: Pinching side shoots
Post by: return of the mac on May 01, 2005, 22:07:50
First time growing pumpkins- i was wondering should i remove the shoots between the leaves and the stock (like you would a tomato plant).
Thanks, John

I don't.  I leave mine to it, and they do me just fine, but an expert I am not.  However, the amount I grow, which romps between my corns, makes it a tricky prickly job!

Ooh EJ all that talk of romping between corns right set my teeth on edge.  My feet are killing me as my gardening boots are too tight.  Ouch  ;D
