Title: nifty little heat mat
Post by: ACE on December 17, 2020, 08:11:09: I often browse the amazon lightning deals for bargains. This little heat mat came up for a fiver. Cheaper than a small lightbulb to run and will fit on my conservatory window sills. Just enough to warm a couple of half size seed trays to start the toms and peppers. I'll let you know if it is worth the fiver, it's only a pint wasted if it isn't.

Post by: Obelixx on December 18, 2020, 13:15:22: No idea about the price of a pint here and no Amazon bargain days in France that I can find but, thanks ACE for the idea. A 20€ heat mat has been ordered and should arrive in time for Xmas and thus in time to sow my chillies in January.

Post by: Deb P on December 20, 2020, 09:17:58: I use several larger ones off these in my barely frost free greenhouse, find they work really well providing bottom heat. Particularly good for hardening off pricked out seedlings....
