making an obelisk to grow my sweetpeas and some beans up! It took about 2 1/2 hours to make.
the cost was £2.50 ;D (half a bundle of roofing batons from a builders)
Nails free (all my leftovers!)
Paint free (see above!)
Was huge amounts of fun and quite easy!

Fab obelisk DP. ;D

You're an artist DP. that looks great, functionable as well as classy to look at. Imagine how much you would pay for that at a Garden Centre. Well done! :) busy_lizzie

Thanks all, I don't know if it would stand up to stringent inspection from a carpenter ;D
If anyone wants the plans for it let me know and I can copy them (came from an old magazine yonks ago) and post them out to you! :) DP

repotting my seedlings into bigger pots. It took me til 6.30 pm and the day just flew by. Kitchen looked a bit of a mess by the time I'd finished. I had to laugh - I was thinking I'm glad I've not got as many as EJ. I wouldn't like to repot that lot ;D ;D ;D My repotted seedlings are now all over my spare rooms. Got too many Gardeners Delight and Mortgage Lifter tomatoes as they all germinated. I'll be able to sell the excess at a plant fayre we're having in May
This morning I will be mostly sowing courgettes :)
-
Hey that is fab. I hope you are very chuffed with yourself and giving yourself lots of good vibes! ;D

Any more for anymore? I have 8 more sets of instructions ready to go in the post if anyone else is interested! ;D

Brilliant ! Even with the plans, I wouldn't know where to start ! ::)
Hey Dottie, I could offer you B & B in the picturesque Pennines. :)
P.S. Don't forget the wood ! ;) ;D
