Title: "big"pests
Post by: Lady Cosmos on April 01, 2005, 23:45:18
Over the last days, when it was foggy, I had  terrible problems with sea- gulls, flying in from the sea.
They eat everything what is not under a net or wire, from boerenkool (kale), brocoli and  they dare to pick all the onions.
I put down 2 plastic bags ful of kitchen waste, turned round and one  bag was gone, found it back about 15 mtr away and the other  bag was ripped open, and all the peelings over the garden. >:(
 terrible, animals.  :-\

Hell!  It is funny you mention seagulls.  In this part of rural Essex I have never heard the gulls, until this week!  Couldn't believe my ears!  Don't tell me I am going to have another feathered pest on the plot!
