Title: when to plant out sweet peas
Post by: adrianhumph on March 27, 2005, 09:43:17
Hi all  :)
My sweet peas have been in the cold frame all winter & are now getting quite bushy and growing well ;D when should they be put out in the ground  ???
Some of them will be going to the lottie & grown up the bean canes with the runner beans. I am in the south of the country.
                              Adrian.

Planted some out a couple of weeks ago and the rest were planted out yesterday. If a hard frost is forecast I'll probably cover them with a bit of fleece but otherwise they seem quite happy even although the first lot have had a light frost since being planted out.
