I have had some bad experiences with buying compost. Big names too. Who's best and where do I buy from?

I just stick to Westland now I've never had a problem with any of theirs.

Thanks Kea. I have found their weed n feed excellent (just applied some todAY). Wickes have mpc on offer 3 for 2 so I will try them. They are happy to lug it into the boot which is always preferable to getting a hernia!

I use asda MP compost without any problems for sowing and potting on into small pots. For big planters i just use civic amenity stuff. Everything grows fine.

Bought Wickes last year and got a bag full of leylandii hedge trimmings.   The reviews on their own website are terrible.

Have used Westland this season, I am really pleased with the quality and the plants are doing really well.
My local garden centre (Frensham, Surrey) are doing it 4 x 50 litre bags for a tenner.
