Title: Pound shop bed edging
Post by: Gordonmull on June 01, 2013, 21:25:34
Hi folks

Pound shop are selling border edging for quite cheap. Mrs Gordonmull was eyeing it up but wasn't sure if she'd just be throwing her money away on something poorly made. We've got a large round flower bed to edge so scavenged lengths of timber are out.

Has anyone used this stuff before? If so, what was it like and did it last any length of time?

Cheers

Gord

I bought some 2 years ago, gave it a coat of wood preserver,I checked it before I put my bedding plants in last week and it is fine,It will need another coat of preserver at the end of this summer though.I also bought 3 rolls of green plastic edging from wilko`s and that has not discolored at all.

Cheers davey. I've got some butanox kicking about, so a bit of extra work and we should be fine. Brilliant!
