Them are the leeks I grew and  put in comp on here last year .
So I presume pics been taken from 2004 veg show we had on here.

Reason I am answering this thread is does any one know where I can get a shaft for that fork same as the one on it with a wooden D at top have seen them with the plastic D but would like original type shaft if possible.
Reason being number 1 son got carried away trying to lift a crown of rhubarb 
and used my best fork, despite 2 more being in shed one of them with steel allway up to the t bar ..In his wisdom he took my best and oldest fork..
if i cant get one it will have to be a plastic D shaft,
Expense not being aproblem as he is paying for it  :D..Aint offspring wonderful..

 I gave him a link to a site which did lovely woden handle forks and spades.
My comp has been wiped clean so I havent got it and cannot remember the thread which it was on hope this helps.

Fork handle!  I could ferk em out wi a toothpick.  Call them leeks?   ;D   Ee ma rabbits'd love em  :)
