Title: Rose Bush?

My wife bought a rase bush a few weeks ago, it got stick out of the way and I forgot about it. I found it today, unpacked it and would what was more or less a twig.

Is it worth planting?

Stick (no pun intended) it in a bucket of water for a week in the light... see if it tries to break bud...  :-\
