Title: Rhubarb - Need to cover..or not

Just planted Rh.Champagne crown and Rh.Victoria (showing first 2 stalks and leaf).
Is there need to protect with any kind of cover...or can I just leave them to the elements for good.

Thanks sadad....they're on their own!
