Title: New Allotment Site
Post by: digmore on January 23, 2012, 10:23:50
With several of the usual suspects sat in the shed the other day drinking tea, we noticed during general conversation, that although we have about 15 sites in the St. Helens Borough covering most of the area. There is not one in the Haydock area.

I wonder if there would be enough interested people in the area to submit an application to the council for a site in the town.

St. Helens is in Merseyside, and most of St. Helens comes under the WA Warrington post code.

There are as several hundred applications for allotment plots in the borough this may be away of reducing that figure.

Comments and opinions please, enough feed back may be worth forwarding to the St. Helens Allotment Federation for consultation with the council.
