When I could get it that's about what I paid Phil - though it's not so easy to get now.

How come?

I understand it was some environmental regulations, though what exactly I can't say, but if memory serves the farmer needed to get some kind of license to deliver the dung. I became a problem saveral years ago now, maybe 7 or 8 years?

Free from a nearby stables - you just need to return the bag. Always fresh though, so no instant use.

ah yes, isnt this to do with toxic waste. Apparantly you need a licence to take bags of compostable kitchen waste, or hedge/grass trimmings from your house to your allotment, is classified as a Waste Transportation Operatives Licence.
Its all a load of fetid dingos kidney. The usual Elf'n'Sfatey EU rubbish, devoid of common sense and with no grip on reality, or practicality.
