Title: sweetpeas

It's been a while since I've visited the site. Can anyone give me some hints as to why my sweet peas aren't flowering.
I have them in a big pot. They're about 4 feet high, very green and leafy, but no bloomin' flowers.

I see this morning that the ones in the garden have collapsed under the weight of the rain :(

So i would make sure to keep them well watered.
Fingers crossed youve got some budding after the rain today.

Post by: bcbeans on August 04, 2011, 20:45:07: Oh - thanks all. Stressing them is not a problem...do a lot of that with my plants. I took a measuring tape out and measured the plants. Yep - they're almost at 5', and as I look I see the beginnings of some flowers. I guess I just have to be patient. We've had an unusually tepid summer around here.
