As an old boss I had at work used to say: "Interesting ....................but not good".

Sad day for the concept but shows how councils are looking for money.

So seems 'we are all in it together' as long as you have enough money to be in it in the first place.

What do you get for your £300 is that a one off charge or do you have to pay it annually.

It's the same the whole world over,
It's the poor wot gets the blame,
It's the rich wot gets the gravy.
Ain't it all a bleedin' shame?

It certainly goes against the initial aim of allotments.  Ground for the less well off to grow vegetables to augment their low wages.   

Now the trendies will get involved and then it will be a letter from 'Those in authority' saying "Your shed is too untidy".  etc, etc,    Cheers,    Tony.
