Stunning. I've only had crystal lemons yet and wautoma are only just starting. Shows what a difference 200miles and a bit of skill make.... ;D

Not mine - Delia's. Two+ kilos ready for mixing in - with a sweet chilli for colour.

LESSON 1 - do not duplicate to save time. Delia knew that her amounts filled anyone's ordinary colander or saucepan.
I doubled up & had to weigh it all into 2 batches to make it possible to handle.

MESS!!

And, because I salted it overnight, instead of 3 hours, I had nearly a pint of syrup left over.

Don't meddle!!

Amazing.  Nice lookings cues.    Hoping to have some to pickle for my  daughter.   But only one very small one so far.

I drive your way quite frequently so next time I pass if LR has disappeared under a pile of gherkins I will know what has happened.

Just a joke.  ;D Somehow the word Gherkin seems more amusing to me that cucumbers.  They look amazing.
