Parsnips I usually grow Tender n true or White gem
and i thought i did last year but just dud the last bit of row and maybe i planed some other ones if so i forgot See pic there more rounded and on know what type they could be ??

Were the round ones grown in peat pots/loo rolls? That's the only time I've had them like that

No mine were grown straight in the ground, just been dug over.

Mine were just the same, I had put it down to being a late sowing. Anyone remember whose seeds they used?

Yep mine were grown the same , Can't think of who's they were now though

They probably hit a hard spot in the soil or a stone

Dug the last of my Tender but true up - they were germinated in loo rolls.
Was an interesting harvest :o

Better than mine. Mine were like forked lightning. Anyway they all look the same mashed on the plate.
