Title: Delphiniums
Post by: Marianne on January 16, 2005, 15:50:38
Absolutely incredible!

My delphiniums, which I had cut down for winter, have produced a array of new shoots!!  It is only mid January!  I hope the frosts do not come as they would not survive.  Should I cover the plants with some fleece or leave it to its own devices ?

I would cover them up with some fleece Marianne.  I would also throw in something to keep your freindly sluggies at bay too, because they just luuurrrvve  those nice tender delphy shoots.

Hi Mimi,

Thank you so much for the reply.  I will cover them up and start eating boiled eggs ......  so I can put the crushed shells around the plants !

 ;D

Thanks again !
