I got a bitter and A rose wine ready to drink today....

Woodforde's Wherry bitter....

I keg the bitter but bottle the wine so A, it looks good and B, it should mature and last longer that way. putting the shrinks and labels on just adds a nice touch to it and only takes seconds.

It tends to be about 3-4 years old when we start to drink it and I did used to do all that stuff- really admire yours- I absolutely agree with you! It looks fantastic! :) :)

Three years old? mine was only started on Monday...it was a five day kit, the wife coudn't wait.

I intend to move on the better kits as I learn.

Is that sort of thing old school these days? homebrewing  has moved on these days. the days of nettles and other such potions are long gone...you can now brew beer that tastes every bit as good as pub bought stuff.  :)

The 30 day 30 bottle kits are realy nice - weve been doing them for about two years solid.
