Title: Bloof Fish & Bone
Post by: Steve. on February 18, 2011, 16:47:57
I seem to remember reading somewhere once that it takes some time before plants can get the nutrients from BFB once applied, does anyone have a ball park figure of how long that is? Days, weeks or months?

hours for the nitrogen in the blood component I'd have thought, it's the recommended fast-action organic nitrogen fertilizer after all, weeks if not months for all the phosphate in bone.... somewhetre in between for everythign in the fishmeal....

Blood's extremely fast, the others slower.

..and the bone part is really slow..takes weeks to it start and it keeps releasing nutrients over months.
