Title: Turkey manure, any experience?
Post by: woppa30 on October 04, 2010, 13:18:43
I may be able to acquire some turkey manure in the near future and thought I would get it knowing it won't be contaminated. Has anybody any experience of this, I assume its much like chicken, needs to rot down and be well mixed in the ground.
Thanks in advance,
Woppa

I've heard anyone mention turkey poop on here but I imagine it's much the same as Chicken, and with Christmas not far away I should think the Turkeys will be doing quite a bit of shitting.   :-X        ;D ;D ;D

as some one who moves these lovely animals at Xmas's my advice to you is not to use as the smell is very very very very very very bad it hangs on to your clothes an be carefull of what they have been fed if they are commercially grown it is very likely that they will have antibiotics put through the food an water
