Well done Pauline.  Lovely picture and worthy of being the winner.  Brought back happy memories of my swallow babies (and all the mess in the alley which we've just cleaned up!!!)

Thanks everyone for your votes.  There were several of them (all babies) sitting on the electricity cable that runs into the house.  I was able to open the bathroom window without disturbing them and got a birds eye view!

Good picture Pauline. 

I am missing my swallows as well - I just cleared up their messes (2 nests).   I did see a couple of swallows this morning above the field and hoped they were passing through on their way south.   Wonderful birds.
