Title: can i remove net from veg?

i have
cabbages
cauliflower's
b sprouts
broccoli
dwarf peas
under nets all a decent size!
can i remove any?
its my 1st year and still learning!

You're joking, the Cabbage Whites havent even started yet. Its like the film 'Alien'. where theres in the ships corridor and they can see all the aliens closing in on the hand scanner. There Cabbage Whites to you and me.

Brassicas need defending like the Alamo until September at least!! Your peas and beans should be safe tho.

Too true!! Then in the winter the birds are after them. Never a moments rest with brassicas!

I'm afraid peas also need protection.

Birds will attack the baby plants, once they're a certain height you're OK for a bit until the peas pod up and then they're at it again - they'll have the lot.
