Maybe some type of Vaccinium? i.e. some type pf huckleberry, bilberrry or whatever?

I think we have it. Hooray! I did plant a huckleberry on my lotti last year. in the Autumn I was told it was a 'deadly nightshade'. I thought perhaps the huckleberry had died and the NS had invaded. Did lots of research but could not come to a definite conclusion as the berries were very similar. I may have planted a seedling in my garden. (I am a very disorganised gardener!) Not sure if I shall dig it up as I still have a seed of doubt(excuse the pun).

i dont know the name but it has yellow flowers , i get them all the time in my garden dont know where the come from

Ah well, that blew the hypericum idea out of the window!

I've gone with the wind as well, cos I was sure it was hypericum (which I've in my shrubberies - no surprises there, cos I planted them there)....and I've never ever planted a huckleberry ;D

Google something like "hypericum images" and see if you can find a close-up of the flower and berries just to be sure?
